Leave Marrakech at 8:00 and prepare for a 3-hour trip to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. Once arrived at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming views of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, the souks, as well as small streets of the old medina of the city. Enjoy a fresh fish lunch at a local restaurant.
During your excursion, visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, stroll through the local markets and marvel at the jewels of the jewelers district. You will return to Marrakech in the late afternoon to join the "Red City" around 19:00.
Visit Essaouira, one of Morocco's must-see destinations, and discover this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ramparts of the city and its 16th century ramparts offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. After pick up at the hotel, visit the argan oil cooperatives on the way, as well as a traditional Moroccan cooperative.
Stop for a tea break and explore Essaouira and its charming sites. Local attractions include the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah Museum, the souks, the old city gates and the impressive Sqalas. You will have free time for the lunch of your choice or to relax on the beach.
