PROGRAM DETAILS

1 Day 1 : Fes - Ifran - Azrou - Midelt - Imilchil - Todra Gorge

Your Morocco Happiness Tours guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Fez and we will start our journey of the day to Todra Gore, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains via Ifrane (Moroccoan Switzerland) and Azrou. We stop for a short visit in the Cedar Forest and see if the inhabitants, the Barbary apes, will offer us a good photo shoot. We will have lunch in Midelt and then continue our way through the Middle Atlas passing the small Berber villages Rich and Imilchil. Our journey ends in Todra Gorges where you will spend the night.

2 Day 2 : Todra Gorges - Rissani - Merzouga “Erg Chebbi” - Camel Trek

Our trip continues after having breakfast in this spectacular canyon of Todra Gorges with walls more than 160m high and at their most narrow part is only 20m. From Todra Gore we head to Erfoud which is the center of dates and Fossils in Morocco. We will move on to Merzouga and finally reach Erg Chebbi, the beautiful sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. Here you will meet your camel guide who is waiting to take you across the golden dunes to your desert campsite and enjoy the sunset in the desert landscape. When you reach your desert camp a refreshing mint tea and delicious dinner will be served. Spend your night at a campfire with Berber music under millions of stars in a traditional nomadic style.

3 Day 3 : Merzouga Camel Ride - Ziz Valley - Medilt - Fez

You should wake up early and look at the magic lights before the sunrise. Once you are out of the sand dunes, you’ll meet your tour guide again and we’ll continue our tour, heading towards Fez. We start by travelling through the Ziz Valley until we reach Midelt where we stop for lunch. In late afternoon we will reach Fez where our journey ends.
