7 Days tour imperial cities via sahara desert from casablanca

PROGRAM DETAILS

1 Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, your Morocco Happiness Tours guide will pick you up to discover the Moroccan imperial cities starting from Casablanca. After we visit Casablanca, we will continue our trip to Rabat; the capital of Morocco and home of the king. You will be Able to visit the most interesting places in the city such as Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. We will continue our experience and go next to Meknes; city which is known for its imperial past, with remnants including Bab Mansour, a huge arch gate with mosaic tiling. Then, we will continue our journey to Volubilis, huge excavated roman ruins .after the visit will drive toward the city of Fez. Overnight stay in a Riad/hotel.

2 Day 2 : Fes Guided City Tour

You’ll be picked up by your tour guide accompanied with a local guide who is included in your Morocco Happiness Tours. You will spend your full day exploring the city of Fes, such as the oldest world’s first university dating back to the 8th century; within a visit of chouara oldest tanneries and major monument in the medina, after a full day exploring the city you will return to your hotel or Riad.

3 Day 3 : Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

After leisure breakfast will pick you up by your Morocco Happiness Tours guide and we will start the journey of the day to Merzouga by driving through Ifrane, Next we will visit the cedar forest Azrou where you will see the monkeys (Barbary Apes) and then cross the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Most of the day will be spent traveling through forests, springs and Berber villages. Halfway we will stop for lunch in the city of Midelt. We continue to cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend to the Sahara Desert.

In the afternoon we will enter the Erg Chebbi sand dunes which are part of the Sahara Desert. When we arrive, a Camel guide will take you to a one-hour Camel ride to your campsite and there you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset of the desert. You will join the desert camp, be served a dinner, enjoy campfire and spend the night in a Berber tent under the stars.

4 Day 4 : Merzouga – valley of dades

You should wake up early and look at the magic lights before the sunrise. Once you are out of the sand dunes, you’ll meet your tour guide again and we’ll continue our tour, heading towards Valley of Dades.

We depart towards Tinghir where we will have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorges, stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. We stop in Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous canyons views while wandering around on foot. At the end of the day we drive to the Valley of Dades where you will have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

5 Day 5 : DAdes gorges – valley of roses – skoura – ouarzazate

After breakfast, your Morocco happiness tours guide will drive towards Ouarzazate; the Hollywood of Africa through the Valley of Roses, where you will have the chance to visit pure rose women cooperatives (only if you are interested). Then we will continue our road to Ouarzazate (the gate of the Sahara Desert) passing through Skoura oasis which is famous for its palm trees. On the way to your accommodation where you will spend the night, we will pass the UNESCO world heritage site “Taourirt Kasbah”;( that was established in the 19th century by The Lord of Atlas, Thami El Glaoui .

6 Day 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech

We will continue our trip towards Marrakech; visiting Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which has been used as a set for different Hollywood films (the Gladiator, Game of Thrones …).The Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou is a combination of many small Kasbahs that show up as a single. In the afternoon, we are going through the beautiful high Atlas Mountains passing different Berber villages with stone and mud houses. Passing through the amazing Berber villages we will be in Marrakech late afternoon and your tour guide will take you to your accommodation where you will spend the night.

7 Day 7 : Marrakech / casablanca airport

Today you have a free time in the medina of Marrakech, later in the day your Morocco Happiness tours guide will drive you to Casablanca Airport according to your flight time, where your tour ends.
