Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Valley of Roses
Your journey begins with an early departure from Marrakech, traveling through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Enjoy panoramic views of Berber villages, valleys, and rugged peaks along the way. Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional earthen architecture and cinematic history. After exploring the site and enjoying lunch, continue toward the Valley of Roses, famous for its rose products and seasonal blooms. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in the Valley of Roses.
Valley of Roses - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
After breakfast, depart toward the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes and unique rock formations. Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where massive cliffs rise up to 300 meters and create a breathtaking natural canyon. After time to explore, continue toward Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching the sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp with dinner, music, and a magical atmosphere under the stars.
Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Agdz
Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 and continue to Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and cultural importance. Then travel through the beautiful Draa Valley, characterized by its long river, lush palm groves, and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you head toward Agdz. Overnight stay in Agdz in a charming guesthouse.
Agdz - Taznaght - Tizi n'Tichka - Marrakech
After breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech. Stop in Taznaght, a town renowned for traditional Berber carpets and artisanal heritage. Visit a local cooperative to discover the craftsmanship behind handmade rugs. Taznaght is one of Morocco's most important carpet centers, where weaving traditions have been preserved for generations. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, enjoying scenic views before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
