Itinerary Day by Day
Fez – Full Day City Excursion
Spend the full day exploring Fez, the oldest imperial city in the world and home to the world's first university, dating back to the 9th century. You will be picked up by your tour guide accompanied by a city guide, which is included in your Morocco Happiness Tour. After a full day exploring the medina, artisan quarters, and cultural landmarks of Fez, return to your accommodation.
Fez – Chefchaouen
Your tour guide meets you at your accommodation and drives you straight to the Blue City. Chefchaouen is known for its charming palette of blue and white buildings and its influence from Spanish civilization and Moorish architecture. You will have free time in the afternoon to walk around the city before retiring to your riad or hotel for the night.
Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier
In the morning, leave Chefchaouen and travel toward Tetouan, which was the capital of the Spanish protectorate during the 19th century. After passing through Tetouan, continue to Tangier, a Mediterranean port city known for its geographical importance and excellent connections with the rest of Morocco. Your tour guide will take you to the most interesting sites including the meeting point of the Mediterranean and Atlantic Ocean, the Hercules Cave, and Elmagazin square. Overnight in Tangier.
Tangier – Asilah – Rabat
After breakfast, continue to Asilah, a beautiful white-walled coastal city that feels like a Greek island, where you will experience a unique mixed Moroccan and Spanish culture reflected in people's daily life. Continue along the Atlantic coast toward Rabat, Morocco's capital city, where you will spend the night in a riad or hotel.
Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast, visit Rabat with the opportunity to see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah Oudaya garden among other interesting landmarks. Afterwards continue to Meknes, known for its imperial past with remnants including Bab Mansour, a huge gate with arches and mosaic tiling. Continue to Volubilis, the magnificent ruins of the Roman Empire. End the day in Fez, where you will spend the night in a hotel or riad.
Fez – Airport Transfer
Your Morocco Happiness Tours adventure ends here when your tour guide transfers you to the airport or drops you off at your accommodation in Fez.
